Mookie and Mike, Pilots

Some info about the pilots behind the mission:

Mike on the left, Mookie on the right

Mookie and Mike have been flying together for over a decade as co-owners of many different aircraft. Over the years, Mookie and Mike have flown to Canada, Central America, The Bahamas and the Caribbean. This will be their first attempt to fly around the world with the Beech Baron, and they're excited about the challenge.

At 59 years young, Mookie is a Single and Multi Engine ATP rated pilot, and has been flying for over 40 years. He has recently retired from Madison Realty Capital, a commercial lender where he was a co-owner and partner of the company.

Mike, also 59 years young, is a Single and Multi Engine rated pilot, and has been flying for over 10 years. Waiting for the retirement bug to bite, Mike still operates Mitronics Inc., a high-tech Electronic Component Distributor.

Come the end of May or beginning of June, Mookie and Mike will be embarking on their epic adventure. Via Canada over the North Atlantic, on to Europe, the Middle East, Asia, North Pacific, Alaska and back to the United States, Mookie and Mike will be circumventing the globe.

And they are looking forward to the ride.
